Bassam Yammine P. Eng. LEED AP
Mr. Yammine is a LEED certified mechanical engineer with more than 20 years of experience. He has provided design, coordination, contract administration, project management, trouble shouting, start-up and commissioning services for a variety of HVAC and plumbing projects.
Primarily in the commercial, institutional, and health care sectors, his projects range from tenant improvement to the design and upgrade of base building HVAC systems for existing buildings, and complete HVAC systems design for new buildings. He also has good experience in the installation of large HVAC systems and HVAC system’s sound attenuation for Theaters and studio applications.
As one of Flow Consulting Group Inc. LEED certified professionals, Mr. Yammine is committed to providing high-performance, sustainable mechanical designs that result in energy efficiency and cost savings for the client.
To supplement his engineering degree, Mr. Yammine has completed numerous graduate-level courses in mechanical engineering. In conjunction with these courses, he participated in the following two research projects that demonstrate his commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability: heat pipes versus conventional solar panels used for domestic water heating; and heat pumps performance with new ozone-friendly refrigerants.
Mr. Yammine’s project work has been focused mainly in British Columbia, Northwest Territories and the Middle East.
